This research aimed to analyze the lipid profile (cholesterol and triglycerides) in guinea pigs in the rearing stage with supplemented diets with vitamin E and organic selenium. The guinea pigs (189 male guinea pigs 15 days old) were divided into 6 treatments and a control, each treatment received its supplemented diet for 8 weeks, at the end of this period blood samples were taken from the jugular and these samples were sent to the laboratory to determine levels of cholesterol (HDL and LDL) and triglycerides in the guinea pig breeding module of the UNJBG. The results were: the general average of cholesterol found was 44.05 mg / dl, also finding the values of HDL cholesterol 4.67 mg / dl, LDL cholesterol 25.43 mg / dl and triglycerides 69.19 mg / dl, finding significant differences between the treatments (supplemented diets).
