The Reasons for Procrastination Scale (RPE) is a psychological test used to measure the levels of procrastination taking into account the factors that influence university students. Its use is oriented to recognize procrastination patterns and if these have something to do with emotional dysregulation. The results showed that this test has the necessary reliability and validity to be applied in college students from Santa Cruz de la Sierra. This test should be taken as a tool to identify the factors that motivate this maladaptive pattern
