Abstract

VALER, Yuli Cansaya  and  SANCHEZ, Milagros Katy Franco. Family Participation in Education. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2023, vol.7, n.27, pp.186-199.  Epub Jan 09, 2023. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v7i27.506.

In education, the participation of families is an important factor for the development of student learning, together with teachers and institutions that allow the achievement of institutional objectives. The objective of this article was to analyze and demonstrate the different studies on the participation of the family in education by means of a bibliographic review of 49 scientific articles. In the search, groupings were generated such as family-school PFE relationship; early childhood education; strategies to promote academic achievement; collaboration in the teaching of inclusive children; profiles and challenges; which allowed synthesizing the information. The conclusion refers that the active collaboration of the families was assumed as an issue that is not often investigated as primordial, rather it can be a more accurate variant associated to different components, for example: difficulty in academic performance, deficient professional experiences, disinterest of the family in education.

Keywords : Participação da família; Saberes ancestrais; Educação inclusiva.
