GARRO-ABURTO, Luzmila Lourdes; MAJO-MARRUFO, Helga Ruth  and  CARRILLO-FLORES, Jorge Wilfredo. Critical thinking in concept formation, judgment and reasoning. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.25, pp.1587-1595.  Epub Sep 27, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i25.437.

Critical thinking (CP) constitutes a transversal axis in the teaching-learning process that offers and demands a higher cognitive-attitudinal capacity in students. The objective of the study was to describe the levels of development of skills associated with CP in postgraduates at a university in Lima, Peru. The study was a descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental design. The sample was a purposive sample of 311 participants. A self-perception questionnaire of the variable consisting of 10 items was applied. It is concluded that the levels of development of PC skills of the study sample were located between the average and low level. This indicates that in postgraduate education it is urgent to make academic adjustments so that the curricula include the development and strengthening of the skills associated with CP based on innovative strategies and methods.
